1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove rear wheels. Remove exhaust pipe assembly. Remove ABS speed sensor from axle carrier. See Fig. 14 Unstake drive shaft lock nut. Apply brakes and remove nut. 2. Place reference marks on axle shaft and differential side gear shaft. Remove 4 nuts and washers, and disconnect axle shaft from differential side gear shaft.
