DESCRIPTION
Skid control ECU measure the speed of each wheel by receiving signals from speed sensor. These signals are used for recognizing all 4 wheels are operating properly. Therefore, all wheel signals must be equal.

1. CHECK TIRE SIZE
a. Check tire size and condition of all 4 wheels.
NG: REPLACE TIRES SO THAT ALL 4 TIRES ARE SAME IN SIZE OK: GO TO Next Step
2. CHECK SPEED SENSOR
NG: REPLACE SPEED SENSOR OK: GO TO Next Step
3. CHECK SPEED SENSOR ROTOR
NG: REPLACE SPEED SENSOR ROTOR OK: GO TO Next Step
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPEED SENSOR - SKID CONTROL ECU) NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU DTC C1340/47 CENTER DIFFERENTIAL LOCK CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends the signal to the ECU by detecting that the transfer center differential is in the "LOCK" position.

1. CHECK CENTER DIFFERENTIAL LOCK SYSTEM OK: Center differential lock operation is normal.
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE ONE TOUCH 2-4 SELECTOR SYSTEM OK: GO TO Next Step
2. CHECK CENTER DIFFERENTIAL LOCK INDICATOR LIGHT
a. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
b. Set the transfer to the L4 position.
c. Check that pressing the center differential lock switch locks the differential and turns the lock indicator on.
Indicator light: ON/OFF or OFF/ON
When the center differential cannot be shifted to LOCK smoothly, the center differential lock indicator light will blink.
