Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Resources

While the goal of science and discovery is to better understand, and ultimately improve, the world around us, science still remains biased in regards to who has access to scientific discoveries and actively excludes members from some demographic groups (e.g. people of color, members of the LGBTQ communities, people from low socioeconomic backgrounds, people with disabilities) from accessing and participating in the scientific process. While this problem is bigger than any one person, we can all do our part in fixing this problem by identifying and challenging the systems and cultures that have led to this exclusionary practice. I've included some resources below that help raise awareness of these issues and include steps on how to address them in your local community.
